Change Internet Explorer Logo



You may have noticed the Internet Explorer logo that flashes on the top right corner of the window. It indicates a healthy connection and proper functioning of the browser. Would you like to change the logo you will make some changes in your registry for this.

> Start | Run | regedit
> Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Internet Explorer | Toolbar
> Right Click the 'Toolbar' and Select 'New | String Value'
> Name this value as 'SmBrandBitmap' and press Enter
> Double-click the name of the String Value and in the 'Value date' field, enter the link of the image
(Eg :- C:\Image\MyImage.bmp)

Note : Image must be a 16 bit BMP and size is 22 x 22 pixels dimension.
